It thrills me when I find something I like and I know others will like too. But it doesn’t stop there, I will showcase gifts that may not be ‘my cup of tea’ because what I like you may not and what you like I may not. My background
In my previous life, many years ago, I was a manager of a fashion boutique for a upscale, and popular, national retail chain in Canada. You can see where my passion came from. Yes there were people who came in looking for items just for them, but most of the time they were looking for something special for someone else. I developed the ability to not only hear what people were saying but actually visualize what they hoped to find. I did my job very well and enjoyed every minute of it.
A Personal Disclaimer
I have had a chronic illness. Sometimes it has been manageable, but many times it has not. I am now considered ‘disabled’ and can no longer work outside of my home. Why I am telling you this? Certainly not to get sympathy. I don’t like to disclose this at all. But I do think it is important that my visitors know this. My goal is to help you find a unique gift that will make your someone special in your life happy, as well as make an income. But to be honest, making an income would not make me happy if you, my visitors, are not happy. So when I see the return visitor numbers going up I know I am doing something right 🙂
