I have to tell you that I do not like cocktail parties. I have never been good at small talk. When I saw these glasses I thought wow what a great idea. Why? A great conversation piece! I would buy them for parties we hold, gives me a starting point of conversation, or I can send these ahead to the hostess of a party and I am attending and then I will have something to talk about while I (uncomfortably) make my rounds.
They have hourglass stems and are made from mouth-blown glass. The sand trickles between the chambers over 10 minutes. The glasses can be inverted to reset the sand and begin the countdown to another round. Woot!
These glasses are perfect cocktail glasses to give anyone on your list for their birthday, anniversary, wedding present or Christmas gift.
